Welcome! This site is a
constantly changing depository of lessons and files related to my
teaching experiences over the years as well as a place to surf news,
participate in interactive online learning and research. It is my
hope that you will find this site engaging, resourceful and
ultimately, very usable. Please
let
me know if there are any problems. Enjoy. [Note to
Students: the Lesson
Calendar link is here.] |

A WIKI is
a website that allows users to create, edit and link webpages
together. Using a wiki host designed specifically for
teachers, my students can learn from their collaborative work, peer review and group
writing projects. |
|
My BLOG is a collection of personal writings which offer a
reflection on teaching, activism, policy, and more. The blog
is also designed to model journal writing for my students. Blogs are powerful forms of written
self-expression. |
Using the
FORUM, students can discuss topics studied in class,
share research, and question one another in a moderated online
community. Students here can gain valuable experience in
collaborative dialogue and writing. |
The PODCASTS collected here are audio files recorded to help
students review content covered in class, sometimes in more depth.
Students also will create their own audio and video podcasts for
individual and group projects. [coming soon] |
